According to court documents, the individual accused of the incident targeting political figure Charlie Kirk exchanged multiple text messages with his housemate following the occurrence.

The court revealed that the individual informed law enforcement that Tyler Robinson had instructed him to look under a computer accessory where a note was apparently discovered.

Officials disclosed that the witness was identifying as male and was in a close bond with the accused.

Housemate: "Are you serious? This is a joke, correct?

Individual: I’m unharmed dear, but am stuck in orem a bit longer. Shouldn't be long till I get back, though I must retrieve my weapon still. Honestly I had hoped to keep this secret until my death. I apologize to involve you.
